I think Im gonna leave buzznet. Im gonna collect the photos that I can (some of my old photos wont even come up) and hightail it somewhere else.

Its been alot of fun... before everything changed...

Am I the only one that doesnt like what happened to Buzznet? I think thats why I havent been on here as much. I hate when people complain about little things, and I know if I dont like it I can just leave.. but.. I miss buzznet. It was more personable back then and I could spend hours on it. Now the front page which used to focus on outstanding photos from members of buzznet has a big picture of paris hilton.. IM SO SICK OF HER!! GAH!! I miss the pictures, I miss the community feeling. I hate the peity celebrity gossip! HATE IT!

I feel like Ive made a few good friends on here.. thats why buzznet was special to me. I shared photos of my family, of my life and now.. now buzznet want to focus on the lives of celebrities? I know where I stand...

Wow I didnt mean to go off like that.. yaie for PMS! but its true. Who changed it? I was gone for too long.

I know Ive been kinda quite here as for posting comments and stuff.. I dunno I guess school is kinda draggin me down. Its not that I have alot to do but just stuff i need to figure out. I will be back.

NO!NO!NO! Whats going on! Alot of my old pics arent showing up! I hope they come back, or I'll be really upset. I dont have copies for some of these pics. I like buzznet. I dont want to leave but if they are going to delete my pics... :,-(

 

Let me begin by saying Im completely loyal to you and I feel ashamed for I have wondering eyes. I have found another to satisfy me more in other ways. For their video hosting easily works with my videos. I will evermore use you as my photo hosting, buzznet, but unless you advance your ways in video hosting I will carry on using www.bolt.com for my  videos. People are so mean.

I have too much of a headache to explain the last one.

Well as yall know I stayed for katrina.

I spent most of that night with my head under a pillow on the living room sofa. Mom and dad were with me. Peaches, a dog that would have a panic attack from a slight rumble of thunder, was as cool as could be. I could hear trees falling(i m of familar of that sound cause of the bad storm we had before tore down half of a huge tree) The storm was still going on when the sun was starting to come up. We turned on the radio and the only reports of damage I heard was a glass building by the oakwood mall collapsed(I still dont know if thats true, never checked up on it). After the storm we walked out and saw all the trees and looked at everyone elses damage(see pics). And i thought that was bad.  That night i couldnt sleep ( it was hot) so i went into my car to listen to the radio.  Thats when i heard about the flooding. People were calling into the radiostation(the only one working) asking why the water was rising so long after the hurricane was finished.   They said they had rumors of a levee breech.  Then I heard people calling in begging for help. It was sooo depressing. that was probably my worst expiernce of all this. Hearing about people being trapped in their attics. Hearing the radio announcer trying to help these people, giving them ideas on how to get out or get noticed, and to the some he couldnt help he wished good luck.   How he managed not to have a breakdown i dont know.

Well that by far was my worst expierence cause Im very fortunate. And I know i sound like im complaing about somethings, but i do relise how lucky I am. Even the 'hard times' were actually kind of, dare I say... fun... in a weird new expiernce way. My apt and my house are fine. My neighbor even broke into my apt to feed my rats (which one actually died about a week ago, she had a tumor).  The next few days was kinda exciting, depressing and aggravating. We were by ourselves on our street but they had a few people still here in the subdivsion next to us. The lucky bastards had a huge generator. But they gave us drinks so I'll be nice. We had to sleep on the roof for almost 2 weeks cause of the heat. We cooked on the barbeque, lived off of OFF spray, dogsat an annoying dog(still here actually) and birdsat a talking african grey.  The first few days were just surveying damage and trying to clean up. when we noticed other streets had cop cars patroling them and garbage pick up and we didnt mom managed to get out and complain. That day on we had military visit us and garbage pick up. There was so much military here youd think Belle Chasse was a war zone. A few of em asked about the story behind our house(story: dad didnt want an ordinary house) and we gave em coffee(they never tried chickory-or how ever u spell it, i dont like the stuff-) They gave MREs which I find are really really good and neat. We had a curfew we couldnt be out after dark or we would be arrested. The city was errie... barely anyone stayed.

The news went on about flooding, looting, crime(which alot of it were rumors) and complaints(fema of course).  No good news anywhere. No signs of normalcy for a good long week And yes it was a long week(anyone familar with the song wake me up when september ends, yea thats how i felt).  News casters were breaking down on tv(we had a portable tv we ran with our little generator) and so were the radio people.

Well things were getting slightly better. My sister husband managed to come in to survey his house. His house is quite small with a flimsy back porch. Nothing happened to it. My other sisters house, which is on the same street, had all their fenced down, attic fell down into their bedroom and their chimney broke which wet and ruined the carpet. They are still not back from fld and my nieces are going to school there.

My sister(the one with no damage) managed to get power after 2 weeks(weird, it felt like months) so mom and I slept over there and stayed at our house during the day. Mom and I watched alot of movies and made rum balls(yum!) at my sis house(they were still out of state).  About maybe 4-5 days later, we got power (WEE!).

I actually went to a mall the other day with mom my sis and my niece.~ off topic~ My niece got a call that her best friend was in a serious car accident and was in the hospital. Her friend has been going through alot. Her father died maybe 2-3 months ago. I think her house was damaged and they are moving away and now this. Shes ok but pretty beaten up and had to go through surgery.

Ok uh.. skipping alot of details i probably want to add later but... yesterday I saw my apt. Its fine(no power). Saw alot of doors spray painted by rescue workers telling what was inside. It was weird seeing new orleans again. Alot of  it was cleaned up  but all i could think about was listening to the radio that night. Hearing about the riots, looting and debris that happened here. While over there I talked with my neighbor who I dont really know. She almost broke down a few times talking about the guy across the street who lost his cats and her friends in lakeview.

Well I'll be taking internet courses soon.

buzznet is getting hi tech, well  not really hi tech but... weee! I try not to make sense in the morning. I like the photo printing thingy. I hope they add more photo printing features like regular photo printing. Im not gonna use this as my main journal, but i may one day as i move my journal around about every year or so.
